I just think, if you're reading reviews to find out what these books are like, you might appreciate knowing that there are some pretty graphic descriptions of torture and battlefield deaths. LIKE WE CARE is a story of two wise arse students who know how to play the system and make it work for them. Additionally, there is some (unsurprising) apologia for imperialism, and his assumption that Parliament is, or will become shortly, the will of the people, seems a bit overly optimistic.
